This Privacy Policy explains how eBay Image Downloader (the Extension) handles information when you use its product image downloading, image search, webpage translation, screenshot translation, and related shopping-assistant features.
The Extension is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by eBay Inc., Alibaba, 1688, Amazon, or any other marketplace mentioned in the Extension.
The Extension is designed to help users download product images from eBay product pages and use related shopping-assistant features such as image search, screenshot-based search, webpage translation, and screenshot translation.
Some permissions are broadly scoped so that user-invoked features can work on the page where the user chooses to use them. The Extension does not use this access to build a browsing-history profile or to sell user data.
To provide the Extension’s features, we may process the following categories of information:
Product media and page content.
When you use image downloading or image search features, the Extension may read product images, image URLs, product titles, page text, and visible page elements needed to identify and download media from the current page.
User-selected images or screenshots.
When you use screenshot search, screenshot translation, or image search features, the selected image, screenshot, or related page context may be processed to complete the requested action.
Translation content.

cookies: Used only where an enabled feature requires session-aware access to the commerce platform currently in use.
alarms and notifications: Used for scheduled extension tasks and user-requested notifications.
declarativeNetRequest and declarativeNetRequestFeedback: Used to manage extension-related network behavior and diagnose request issues.
downloads: Used only when you choose a feature that saves product images or other files to your device.
host permissions: Used to let enabled content features operate on supported pages where you request them.
Preferences are stored locally until you change them, remove the Extension, or clear browser data.
Image search, translation, screenshot, and diagnostic data are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to process the request, maintain security, resolve errors, and meet legal requirements.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS for network communications. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
You can disable features, change settings, revoke optional permissions, clear extension storage, or uninstall the Extension at any time through Chrome.
You can also avoid using image search, screenshot, or translation features for content you do not want processed.
The Extension may participate in affiliate programs. If you follow a qualifying link or make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate activity does not change the way we handle product images, screenshots, translation content, or browsing data. We do not use this information to create behavioral-advertising profiles.
